Top of the World

In 1999, The IBM Software division decided to begin a program to increase the awareness (and the importance) of IBM distributed software offerings. IBM's very first IBM Software Executive Briefing was attended by two people from two of my accounts at the time -- The Canadian Wheat Board, and Cargill.

After touring Watson Research Labs and talking business (high society style) we were all escorted to New York City's World Trade Centre. Here we rode express elevators to the top floor where we had a dinner that we would remember forever. A six-course dinner in the Windows on the World restaurant.
